The Crime Prevention Website

We are very pleased about our recent link with the Derby Cycling Group (DCG), which was formed in 1979 to campaign for safe and convenient cycle routes in Derby.

If you are cyclist living in and around Derby it seems to me that this is a campaigning group you should seriously consider joining.  Membership brings with it a regular newsletter and discounts at various cycle shops around the city and, of course, you can volunteer to help by supporting their various activities around the city.

Our link has come about due to an article recently posted on their website by Derbyshire Constabulary, who kindly included a link to TCPW. DCG also link to BikeOff, an initiative of Central St Martins College of Art and Design in King’s Cross that studied bike theft and design solutions to reduce it. I was fortunate enough to know the people who worked on BikeOff when I worked in London and with their agreement used some of their findings to help me create my advice pages on bike theft.

Please support DCG’s work and visit their site.
