Happy Birthday to us!
We’ve completed two years of operation today and haven’t things moved on!
One year ago this site had received 69K visits who read 158K pages. In our second year we received almost 292K visits who read 505K pages – more than a fourfold increase!
Our geographical reach hasn’t changed too much (82% from the UK and Ireland), except for a noticeable increase in visits from the US, which has moved up from a 6% share one year ago to 10.4% since January.
Our reciprocal inks to other websites have doubled to 168 and I must change that banner on the homepage that says ‘180,000 words of advice’, because that’s now well in excess of 230,000.
We’ve said it before, but none of this would have been possible without the kind support of our Partnering websites, Newsletter subscribers, Neighbourhood Watch supporters, Twitter followers, Facebook friends and likers and G Plussers and our friends in the Police Services, Local Authorities and Police and Crime Commissioners Offices and, of course, the general public.
We’ve got a lot of work to do this year and new things to look forward to, so do please stick with us and help us make our third year of operation even better!
