I’ve talked about lock (cylinder) snapping on these pages several times before and have recommended that we upgrade our lock cylinders to the new Kitemarked 3* type. BBC’s Watchdog programme last week highlighted the problem again (which is welcomed), but as I was about to put a link to the programme my friends at the Master Locksmiths Association brought my attention to the fact that the programme missed some vital information about the subject that could lead to householders doing the wrong thing!
Rather than regurgitate what the MLA have said I have instead simply given you the link to the article on their website – and very important it is too.
