Rural Crime and Security is a new Facebook page to provide crime prevention advice to farmers, landowners and the agro-business. The NFU rural crime survey for 2012 indicates that the cost of rural crime to their policy holders was £52.7m last year. This is just the tip of the iceberg and Rural Crime and Security will be sharing more statistics over the coming weeks.
Rural Crime and Security want to hear about your experiences of rural crime, be it plant theft, metal theft, poaching, theft of livestock and dogs, fly tipping and burglary.
