I was recently contacted by a website visitor who wanted to know what security, if any, she should include as part of a large extension she was having built at the back of her house. We had a chat on the phone, which resulted in me visiting her where I was able to talk to the architect.
Consequently I thought it might be useful to add a short page in Home Security Assessment, just to highlight one or two things that all of us should be thinking about when we embark on some home improvement project or maybe some DIY.
The new page references four common projects: Rear extensions; window and door replacements; garden redesign; and porches. There are probably others, but I’m sure the reader will get the message!
