Check your security before you go

Things have quietened down a little on the Crime Prevention Website as people go off on their well-earned holidays. It’s easy to tell it’s summertime (in spite of the weather), because although visitor numbers have tailed off the proportion of visitors that go to the Holiday Security Checklist page has increased.  That’s rather good news for me, because it demonstrates the usefulness of the site.

So, have you satisfied yourself that you’ve done all you can to keep the thieves and burglars out before you jet off to sunny climes? Have you arranged for neighbours or friends to pop in to check on the place?
