The Crime Prevention Website

Having been at a one-day music event on Saturday, which I thoroughly enjoyed, I thought I would pull together some previously published news items and present them as a page of guidance. The words are taken from Dorset Constabulary, the Metropolitan Police and Me.

I have attended many outdoor music events over the years, both on and off duty, and whilst I would not wish to see any further restrictions being placed on alcohol at such events it does seem to me that those who get legless are the ones that become property-less at the end of the day, with no memory of what even took place.

So, my guidance kicks off with some thoughts about keeping the drink under control and is followed by the usual advice you’d find on any police site at this time of year.

It’s my first draft and I’ll no doubt be adding extra stuff as time goes on. If I’ve missed something please get in touch using feedback.

Hope it’s helpful!
