On several occasions over the years we have been asked for permission to copy and use some of our website’s material. Most of these requests have come from Neighbourhood Watch groups and the police. The material has usually been reproduced onto a Neighbourhood Watch website or electronic newsletter, but on two occasions has been used by the police to produce crime prevention leaflets.
We are keen to support people who are trying to reduce crime, but we do require a written request for permission to use our stuff. To clarify our position on copyright we have created a new page in ‘About’ entitled Copyright and The Crime Prevention Website.
It’s all pretty straightforward, so do please take a look if you’re thinking of using some of our writings
