  • From 8:20pm – 11pm on 24th September Kirklea Little, Broughton, Cockermouth (no fuel taken – damage to fuel tank)

PC Andy Mason from Cumbria Police said: “We are working hard to trace the person or people responsible for these crimes. However, we rely on members of the public to get in touch to report any suspicious activity they may notice in their local areas – particularly late at night. The use of power tools, and the leaking of fuel, can cause a number of safety concerns.

“I would urge anyone with any information in relation to these thefts to get in touch as soon as possible and let us know. Any information, no matter how small it may seem, could help us trace those responsible.”

Anyone with any information should contact Cumbria Police on the non-emergency number 101. If you do not wish to speak to the police you can call Crimestoppers and leave information anonymously by calling 0800 555111.
